Company History
Rim Securities Limited (RIMsec) was established in 2004 becoming one of a handful of independent specialist fixed interest businesses in the Australian market that are not aligned with any particular bank or asset management institution.
RIMsec is a public unlisted company that is a majority owned subsidiary of ASX listed Trustees Australia Limited (TAU).
The company has established relationships with an extensive range of Authorised Deposit-taking Institutions (ADIs) and works cooperatively to introduce their term deposits and at call funding to investors, through attractive interest rates. These ADIs include Credit Unions, Building Societies and major and regional Australian banks.
The RIMsec client base is Australia wide and includes government organisations, charities, associations, financial planners, stock-brokers and other intermediaries, small to mid size companies, self managed-super funds and individuals.
