With over 20 years experience in Queensland's financial markets, Alastair has built up an impeccable reputation within the industry.

Alastair was the General Manager of Marketing and Business Development for a local merchant bank where he was responsible for strategy formulation in three departments - securitisation, corporate advice and money markets. He also instigated business development programs. This gave him a good platform for sourcing potential investors and borrowers and allowed him to build on his already vast network base.

Having previously founded another fixed income broking firm, and now as the founding director of RIMsec, Alastair as part of the RIMsec team, provides expertise and distribution for fixed income products to the wholesale and retail markets.

Alastair has an Honors and Masters degree in marketing.

Jodi Van de Wetering
Operations Manager

Jodi has been in a service environment for the last seven years through her involvement as a legal secretary. Initially starting as a Junior Legal Secretary she continued working in the legal industry in capacities of Legal Secretary, Conveyancer and most recently, Senior Legal Secretary/Office Manager.

This experience has given Jodi the skills required as well as an understanding of the urgencies involved whilst managing and overseeing the settlements process.

Jodi has also been exposed to the pressures and requirements of setting up a small business giving her an understanding of the importance of efficiency, professionalism and culture within a service company.

Neil comes to us with more than 20 years global experience in the financial markets having worked on four continents and in many of the world’s major financial centres.

He is eminently qualified and experienced in fixed income, having being involved across all segments of the fixed income chain. Neil has headed up Trading teams and Sales teams as well as managing both asset and liability portfolios. He has also managed issuance and new product structuring.

Neil’s skills are very strongly focussed on building value adding and mutually beneficial relationships. After many years in Financial Markets he has developed an ability to analyse and identify market trends and opportunities across most regions. Through this analysis and targeted offering of value adding advice has completed many successful transactions in Australia ,New York; South Africa; London; Europe; Scandinavia, Russia, and other Eastern Europe countries.

The Board 

Since 1986, Michael has been the Managing Director, and was founding Chairman, of the group of companies held by Queensland Trustees and Investments Limited an ASX listed company. The QTI Group has been listed since 1987 and has interests in tourism, property development and financial services. Michael is an associate of the company's majority shareholders through private company interests and is responsible for its day to day activities of the Company.

A chartered accountant by qualification, Michael has had considerable experience in managing and operating a wide range of businesses and property developments. He has been a director on several public companies and has served as a board member of Tourism Queensland.

Michael has a Bachelor of Commerce, is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and is an ACA Financial Planning Specialist.
